Here are the shows we know of so far in 2021. In 2019 there were over 40 events, but a lot fewer in 2020, sadly. If you are planning a lego event and it’s not yet listed here, drop us a line via the Contact Us page and we’ll be happy to add it. Update – new listings are in red, and I’ll grey out events as they happen.
5th-6th June 2021 – the Brick Express
Venue – the Avon Valley Railway from 10.00 to 17.00
Jump onboard the Brick Express and get creative! All children over 5 will be given a box of bricks to play with onboard and then to take away afterwards. What will they be inspired to build? Your family group or support bubble will be seated either in separate compartments or around tables well away from other passengers to maintain social distancing.
You’ll be able to admire models from Bristol-based Lego user Group ‘GertLUG’ who’ll be exhibiting their latest creations. There’ll be cityscapes, trains, fantasy scenes and much more!
You’ll need to reserve your seats on a specific train, but the station site and model displays will be open all day for you to enjoy.
26th – 27th June 2021 – Lymm Historic Transport Day – CANCELLED
The village of Lymm plays host to a collection of historic cars, traction engines, a flock of canal boats – and a lego display by Northern Brickworks. We’ll be in the scout hut, Maple Lodge again this year – this is in the centre of Lymm, just next to the May Queen Field with all the cars. For the first time, the Lego display will be open on the Saturday afternoon to allow more people to visit in a socially-distanced manner. Update 16th June: We regret to advise that the event has been cancelled.
