Artificial Intelligence (AI) Fair Use Policy
Following discussions regarding the use of AI on Northern Brickworks Social Media
platforms the following guidelines are being adopted.
What is allowed:
Only AI images which are solely made up of pre-existing elements. For example, you
have a picture where you used AI to remove the background (but not replaced) or
unwanted parts of an image.
This is akin to what a computer programme could achieve.
It is also permissible to create Alternative Text for images, (this is used for persons
that may have difficulty in viewing images) This should be limited to approximately
12 – 15 words and should not include an image.
What is not allowed:
Images that have been generated from scratch, and AI has produced elements within
that image. Adding AI generated additions to an existing image.
