Compliance with LEGO Trademark and Intellectual Property Laws
All participating communities and their members must respect and comply with applicable trademark and intellectual property laws, as well as LEGO brand guidelines.
Logo Usage – Communities/Individuals must:
Use LEGO trademarks only in accordance with published guidelines and permissions
Refrain from modifying official LEGO logos
Ensure community logos, including those for events or meets etc are clearly distinguishable from official LEGO branding
Avoid implying official endorsement unless explicitly authorized Marketing Materials
All promotional materials, including websites, social media graphics, event banners, and printed materials, must:
Accurately represent the community as an independent fan organization
Avoid implying official LEGO endorsement or partnership without explicit approval (example _ LEGO show here today is not allowed but xxxx Brick Show – A LEGO Fan Event is acceptable)
Use trademarks and copyrighted material in compliance with LEGO policies
Naming – Community, event, and partner event names must:
Avoid infringing on registered trademarks
Avoid using the word “LEGO” beyond a descriptive reference
Not imply official LEGO ownership or control
Follow LEGO trademark usage guidelines, including proper use of the LEGO® trademark
Important
These guidelines flow through to every Northern Brickworks activity, meet, and events, plus what is posted across our social media sites.
The use of the minifig shape and image in advertising or customising is also covered by the guidelines. Recognised Logo’s must not be printed onto Minifigs
Wit regards to Social media, everyone must refrain from posting leaks of copyright materials
All members must abide by these guidelines.
