Review of Lego Rides Sets (#60481, #60482, #60483, #60484)
My main reason for buying these Rides sets was the different coloured LEGO babies to add to my collection, however the price point (RRP £7.99) is also an incentive to buy.
I bought all 4 and they were a joy to build, although I’m not sure why the boxes are so big for the number of pieces inside (between 61 to 71).
All the sets were very simple with easy to follow instructions, so would be ideal for kids (and obviously grown-up kids) with each set taking about ten minutes to build.
The first one I built was:
The Construction Loader (#60483), this uses a few new reddish orange pieces, including the actual digging element and the hook at the back.
Both the Fire Engine (#60482) and the Police Car (#60481) use several vibrant yellow pieces to give them that ‘emergency services’ feel.
The Gaming Race Car (#60484) was my favourite build out of the 4 sets and had a sleek feel to it with some cool trans bright green lightning bolts which don’t come in any other set yet! Each set comes with printed elements, so no stickers which is always good news.

I look forward to seeing where LEGO goes with this mini City theme and hope that there are more LEGO babies to add to my collection. I also decided to have a go at making some of my own. I’m in the process of making a yellow taxi in this style and have a few other ideas in mind.
What would you build? Maybe we could have a NB challenge to see what people come up with?
