Participation Points

Although Northern Bricks is currently free to join, we need to record which of our members are active within the use group. This is to enable us to provide additional opportunities as they arise throughout the year. To do this we have a participation points system.

Active Northern Brickworks members earn Participation Points Tickets throughout the year, with a raffle to be drawn at the beginning of every year!  The more active you are in the LUG the more raffle tickets you earn.  Raffle Ticket numbers will be sent to you by the Communications Secretary in January each year.  See below for details:

12 tickets – for organising a N.B show, this must include the pre-show and post-show report, no additional tickets for displaying.  Please note: Show Organisers must complete and return post show report to Ambassador within 28 days after the event, and member attended sheet returned to Admin, within 14 days of show completion.

6 tickets – for displaying at a N.B show/event.

6 tickets – for first display at Collaboration event, no extra tickets for multiple builds.

3 tickets – for volunteering at a N.B show/event

3 tickets – for trading at a N.B show/event

3 tickets – for displaying in a LEGO store showcase representing N.B

2 tickets – for organising and attending physical meetings.

1 ticket – for the showcase organiser per changeover.

1 ticket – attending/organising any Virtual meetings

1 ticket – for each Committee Position, plus 1 ticket for each Committee meeting attended.

1 ticket – for taking part or entering a N.B activity or competition, plus an additional ticket for anyone who wins.

1 ticket – for providing an article/review for Brick News, the Forum or Website.

Additional tickets can be awarded/allocated at the Committee’s discretion. Point requirements/awards are revised annually.

Please see the following guidelines for information on how shows/events are to be classed as a Northern Brickworks event
