On 16th & 17th November 2019, Brick Alley held their fourth annual show at the Locomotion train museum at Shildon, near Darlington. It’s a great venue, with historic engines on display, such at the Battle of Britain class ‘Winston Churchill’ and a seriously impressive Deltic, a diesel loco built in 1955 capable of over 100 mph. And here she is:
We had more trains, with a display by LNUR next to the Sans Pareil engine, and Jim’s Triang-Hornby-in-lego layout:
There was a stunning Hogwarts build from Allan Hall, and here is an overhead shot plus some detail pics:
And then there was space…
Some Zombine Harvesters from Iain, plus his Interstellar Milk Float:
And no space display is complete without Mos Eisley, this display from Matt:
The new Lego HQ under construction came from Ian, and it featured a chorus line of workmen…
We also had Vikings from Chris, and a Game of Thrones book vignette:
There was a stunning Disneyland display:
And an extensive Town Plan layout from the 1980’s by Jules:
Finally, this lenticular mosaic caught my eye. It all depends how you look at it…
