PAB walls

Every Lego store has a Pick-a-Brick wall, fondly known to AFoLs as the PaB wall.  These are a great source of unusual Lego parts, but you never know what you’ll find until you walk into the store.

This is our attempt to rectify that, by posting pictures of the parts currently available.  We have started with pics from the Liverpool store, and we rely on our members to keep the pics up-to-date.  If you would like to contribute, please set out the parts in your local store, take a photo, and email it to admin@nblug.org.uk stating the date taken and the name of the store.  If you can put a stack of 2×4 bricks in black, red, blue, yellow, and white in the corner, it will help viewers to identify the other colours in the display.

Update – August 2021

In the aftermath of the coronavirus, Lego stores are re-opening and restocking their PaB walls.  Yay!  They started off by filling your PaB cup for you; this has now changed to self-service but you have to use a sanitised scoop to get your parts and once you’ve taken them out, the parts cannot go back into the drawers.

Recent pictures are now available for Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle Metrocentre, Sheffield, Leeds, and Birmingham.

When they reopened, stores started displaying all the PaB wall contents on a baseplate, which made it easier to share what’s in stock.  These have been withdrawn in some stores, sadly.
